Hydration & Yoga: Why Water Deepens Your Practice

Yoga is about connection — breath, body, and awareness. But hydration plays a powerful role in how deeply you can access that connection.

Muscles are over 70% water. When dehydrated, they become tight, fatigued, and less responsive. Proper hydration improves flexibility, joint lubrication, and circulation — allowing you to move more fluidly through poses.

Hydration also supports detoxification. During yoga, especially heated practices, sweating helps release waste — but your body needs adequate water to flush it effectively.

Before your practice, sip water steadily. Afterward, replenish with clean, mineral-balanced water to restore equilibrium.

Yoga teaches awareness. Hydration is part of that awareness.
